One of Irelands leading commercial law firms with offices in Dublin, London and San Fransisco are looking to hire a talented junior lawyer to their market-leading climate finance team which supports global clients on a range of transactional and advisory matters both in Ireland and internationally.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an ambituous lawyer with flexibility for remote working options. You will be responsible for providing legal advice on transactions relating to the avoidance or reduction of carbon emissions, conducting research, drafting legal documents, and supporting clients in navigating regulatory requirements.

There is no other firm in Ireland right now carrying out this work. You will get a chance to be at the forefront of new areas of law where you will represent clients on projects that have a meaningful impact on emission reductions/removals, sustainable economic development, biodiversity enhancement and improvement of livelihoods. 

Qualifications

• Qualified to practice as a lawyer in Ireland and/or the UK with 0-4 PQE
• Strong interest in Environmental and Climate Change matters
• Experience and/or interest in Corporate, Energy, Infrastructure, Construction or Banking.
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Excellent drafting and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

The annual base salary will be within the range of 70,000- 110,000 EUR per annum but will vary based on various factors including , market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
